Biography

Attorney Michael LoCoco was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After attending Marquette University High School, Attorney LoCoco went to college at the University of Dallas in Texas.

While at the University of Dallas, Attorney LoCoco met his wife Courtney. Upon graduation he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and graduated as class valedictorian.

After college Attorney LoCoco attended law school at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. He focused his curriculum on litigation procedure and graduated with honors. In law school Attorney LoCoco served as the President of the SMU chapter of the Federalist Society, one of the oldest and most prestigious legal student organizations. He also served as student representative to the State Bar of Texas.  After law school Attorney LoCoco moved back to Milwaukee and spent a short time defending insurance companies involved in lawsuits before finding his true passion in representing injured persons and working to get them the compensation they deserve.

As a personal injury lawyer, Attorney LoCoco has represented hundreds of clients and been involved in settlements and jury trials for millions of dollars in damages.

Attorney LoCoco is a member of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys and focuses a significant part of his practice engaged in complex litigation with large trucking companies, involving wrongful death claims and catastrophic injuries. In addition, Attorney LoCoco is an accomplished appellate litigator and has represented clients at every level of the Wisconsin court system, all the way to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

His overall experience spans all aspects of litigation and settlement practice and involves representation of clients injured in auto accidents, motorcycle accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability and slip and fall cases, dog bite cases, medical malpractice, and products liability. He works tirelessly to ensure his clients receive just compensation for their injuries.

In his spare time, Attorney LoCoco is a prolific writer on a variety of topics ranging from public policy to technology to sports. He has been published in Forbes Opinions, The Wisconsin Lawyer and numerous other publications. He has appeared on cable news and radio programs for his writing as well. Beyond writing, Attorney LoCoco enjoys following the Packers, Brewers and Bucks.

He and his wife Courtney live in the Milwaukee area with their four children Julian, Dominic, Vivian, and Max.
