Wisconsin state law 346.62 makes reckless driving illegal. That law says motorists may not endanger the safety of any person or property by the negligent operation of a vehicle. The law further states that no person may cause bodily harm or great bodily harm to another by the negligent operation of a vehicle.

Reckless driving has led to many tragic deaths and injuries, all of which were entirely preventable and the direct result of irresponsible driving behaviors.
