Huge congrats to Attorney Eric Knobloch, Attorney Ryan Grych and our client on their recent $1.25 million jury trial verdict in Waukesha, Wisconsin! Several other Gruber Law team members also contributed significantly.
The total amount collectible will be closer to $1.35 million due to statutory interest that West Bend Insurance will owe due to the verdict being larger than the applicable Offer of Judgment. The case was tried to the jury by Attorney Eric Knobloch and Attorney Ryan Grych.
The case came into our office as a young lady who suffered a crash and felt that it aggravated her prior injuries from a very serious crash a decade prior to this crash. She was sent for PT. Ultimately, our client needed to undergo a lumbar fusion after conservative treatment failed. The The defense did not make a presuit offer on the case and mediation failed when the The defense final offer was $250,000. Eventually the The defense offered $500,000 and increased their offer to just over $600,000 before trial. Those offers were rejected and the case was tried.
